june 13th 2026 - 29 days

boy oh boy! been a while since i uploaded on here. based off of the title you're probably wondering "nights, what happens in 29 days?"

well, a while ago i applied to this pretty cool engineering program at notre dame, and ended up getting accepted. i'm basically gonna be a student there for two weeks. while this means i won't be able to game, i'll have access to all the facilities n all that jazz. the major pickle though - is getting there to begin with. and well, how would i get from home to notre dame for christs sake?

a fucking airplane. :sob:

yeahh, i'm going to have to fly on my own. my airport here doesn't exactly do flights all the time to notre dame - so it's a pretty early flight for the most part. and when i say early, uh, i mean 6:15 am. considering i usually wake up at 6:50, and my airline has specifically advised me to show up early, so i'm waking up at fucking 4 am..

on another note, i've been sick since monday with a horrible cold, sore throat, all that shit. kinda sucks. and out of everything my sick self decided to do.. i decided to play fucking marvel rivals.

and honestly?? i didn't really miss the game as much as i missed playing rogue. speaking of rogue, i'm debating picking up the xmen comics singlehandedly because i managed to get into this fuckass game again. i really debated getting back into deadlock, or at least trying it again, but i really don't wanna put myself through the pain of playing a MOBA again - i'd rather just go through and play rivals, cause at least a little bit of my overwatch experience carries over, y'know?

on the topic of video games, there's one coming out in october this year that i'm pretty hyped for. you know me, of course it's an indie game, but it's a really interesting one if you ask me.

it's called 'neverway'. i personally see it as the lovechild between stardew valley and omori. it's got life sim aspects while staying story driven, and also incorporates eldritch horror into it. fiona (the main character) is honestly just so relatable in general. neverway also has an ARG, which people have been working to solve for a while. you can find it here here, credit to @nicoanasalado for making the document n stuff
